Sam Law Design Competition Project

Abstract:

I want to give to an Artist/Designer one vintage Thai three wheeled Pedi-cab.

The project is to design or create an Art piece from a vintage Thai Pedi-cab. The piece should encompass sustainable energy and environmental issues but is not limited to that theme. It can also encompass a transportation or small business theme. It is open to interpretation and can expand on this content.

Artists or designers should submit their proposal. It can be in any media but should convey a clear idea of intent. A description in text is therefore also recommended.

The selected person will be given one un-restored Thai Pedi-cab to produce into a new design/art work.

At completion of work the pedicab will be displayed or used in a suitable venue. All material will be supplied by artist/designer who will then own the piece.
